About Me

Hi. I’m Indi. If you took a look at my page, you’d probably know I usually like to dress like a pirate. Mostly it’s because I love waistcoats and long velvet jackets.

I’m 19 years old, currently living in Singapore after having grown up all over the world. I’m an international child, being a mix of Singaporean-Indonesian-Chinese-Malaysian-English-Dutch-Portugese. I’m an Australian citizen and I was born in London. I’ve lived all over the world, but Singapore is more or less home. At the moment.

My life’s pretty complicated. It’d take ages to go through, but here’s some things.

I did one year of Performing Arts at Monash University, before moving back to Singapore, where as I mentioned I am now. I’m here for a year because I plan to transfer to another school - one hopefully in the States, if all goes well. But right now, I have no major plans, and hopefully this will change.

I’m an actor, a dancer, and a singer with a passion for music theatre and performing in general. I’m also Singapore’s youngest active regular stand-up comedian. I play Tuesday nights at Home Club and Sunday nights at ChinaOne, both down by Clarke Quay. Come check me out if you’re in town.

I want to perform for the rest of my life, whether it’s music, theatre, comedy, films, TV, voice acting, whatever.

I have Type-2 diabetes and severe clinical depression. These things tend to get me down and beat my mind at times, but I’ve got good people around me.

I have had many lovers and will speak of them fondly, but I have been in love a total of three times, with three wonderful people who I will remember forever.

I love things! And stuff! Television shows, music, movies, books, comics, manga, toys, people. I’m a massive tokusatsu fan, who grew up with Power Rangers and never grew out of it, and instead grew into Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. I mention this because I’m into pretty much everything else, but I hate people who list the shit they’re into on these things, so just ask me if I like something and I’ll tell you.

My favourite band is probably a tie between the Barenaked Ladies, Counting Crows, and Queen. Jeffrey Archer writes my favorite short story collections, Mel Brooks and Chris Nolan have done some of my favourite films, Ghibli some of my favourite animation, and Brian Michael Bendis and Grant Morrison two of my favourite comic book writers. Then again, use the word ‘favourite’ far too losely for far too many things.

I’m super social, and I like to always be there for people, so if you ever wanna talk, please, please, please don’t be afraid to drop me a message via ask or fanmail.

Enjoy. I try to.
